ADVOCACY

The program on March 5th, 2026, will focus on Advocacy, and will include in the discussion agenda how, through popular participation (physicians, patients, and NGOs), we can work together with public authorities to expand access to early diagnosis and appropriate treatment, reducing inequalities and ensuring that more women receive quality care.

We will bring to the center of the discussions the challenges faced by patients and the solutions needed to improve oncology care in Santa Catarina, including the agenda of humanization and “patient literacy,” which is nothing more than empowering patients to advocate for other patients by providing access to specific information about oncologic treatment, delivered in an accessible way by those who have already experienced this journey.

We will hold an essential debate on public policies and their direct impact on patients.
